Is Online Shopping - A Quality Compromise?
Since the advancement in technology, trades and businesses have been moved to the internet. This has made much ease in our lives. Grocery stores, clothes, shoes, ornaments everything of use has been made a shift to the internet. Stores are now open online. We can search, see and buy anything of their interest. There is the diversity of everything. But, the shopping has not all to do with us to go, search for the thing we need and purchase them. There’s also the quality of the product that matters. We spend money and want to have a reliable product that goes with them for a long time.
Drawback of Online Shopping
In the case of online stores and online shopping, we can’t check the quality of the product as we do when we do go-to-market shopping. We check the product, analyze it that either it has the quality that we are looking for and compatible with us. Then, we buy it. But when we do online shopping, we have to rely on the retailer’s description of what quality his product is offering. We have no other choice.
Sometimes, the product delivered at our doorstep is not the one that we ordered. There are possibilities of mess-ups of different consumer’s parcels and it is real. Sometimes, the quality of the product is cheap. And sometimes the retailers are the fraud.
We don’t have any other option except to accept the delivery and pay for the product. Some traps also ask for an advance payment for placing the order and then don’t deliver the product at all. We can’t do anything except to bear all that with patience in such a situation.
Online shopping thus, sometimes leads us to dissatisfaction and leaves us in a state of anger. A compromise has to be made with the quality or we don’t use the product at all.
This doesn’t mean that all the online stores are fake and deliver cheap quality products i.e pretending somewhat other than what they are. There are some super quality stores too that care for our satisfaction and are there every time for their our concerns and queries. Their stores deliver amazing quality which we sometimes don’t even find in the market after too much tyranny of seeking and search.
The problem should be fixed for us and any such store or business that is fake or delivers cheap quality while demanding high prices should be accounted for why they did so. We can question a store and file a case against it if we are willing to do so. But usually, we let go of the loss and say that we’ll not buy from here anymore or we will not let that happen again with us. Stores and business are run by us. If we stop buying from them, then they have would have no alternative of selling their goods and earn a profit.
Why we don’t stand up against such frauds and money looters. Why we say we will not let it happen next time. Why we don’t say why this time? That’s the bad news.
